Capventis to Host 5 For The Fight Dodgeball Challenge

February 8, 2019

Capventis to host 5 For The Fight Dodgeball Challenge on Saturday the 23rd March in UCD Sports Centre where teams will have the opportunity to compete to become  Dodgeball Champions on the day.   Capventis is working with Qualtrics to raise as much money as possible, so as to make a difference for #5ForTheFight EMEA,  with every euro raised going directly to the Breakthrough Cancer Research charity. (CHY No. 19801,  Registered Charity No. 20077945 )

Are you ready for the challenge? It’s very simple –  form a team and go head to head against other teams on the day to battle your way to the top to become overall Dodgeball winners.  The day will kick off at 12:30hrs with an exhibition match between members of the Northern Ireland Dodgeball Team (who came third in the 2018 World Cup, held in Madison Square Gardens, NY).

The team will then teach you how to play the game and explain the rules. And that’s the starting point for a fun and excitement-filled afternoon, with a round-robin format tournament followed by prizes, food and drinks.

About 5 For The Fight

QUALTRICS + BREAKTHROUGH CANCER RESEARCH
Qualtrics has teamed up with Breakthrough Cancer Research to launch the Dermot Costello Cancer Immunology Fellowship—a ground-breaking initiative that will fund a dedicated team of researchers to develop new immunotherapy treatments for the hardest-to-treat cancers. Cancer has always been part of our story. Qualtrics was founded in 2002, following one of our founder’s Scott Smith’s cancer diagnosis. As part of his recuperation, Scott and his son Ryan worked on a small project which grew into Qualtrics – which now has more than 9,000 customers in over 90 countries. Today, Ryan is still serving as CEO and Scott is thankfully cancer-free.

Qualtrics, through their 5 For The Fight campaign, has teamed up with Breakthrough Cancer Research to launch the Dermot Costello Cancer Immunology Fellowship – a ground-breaking initiative to fund a team of cancer researchers to develop new immunotherapy treatments for the hardest-to-treat cancers. This programme has been named in memory of our late EMEA Chairman Dermot Costello who passed away from cancer in January 2018.  For more information, please visit 5forthefight.eu
