Capventis hosted the AI Reality Tour 2024 in Belfast on November 7th at the Grand Central Hotel, and in Dublin on November 14th at The Clarence Hotel. These were the only stops in Ireland and Northern Ireland, bringing together data enthusiasts, industry leaders, and tech visionaries for an afternoon packed with insights, hands-on demos, and conversations about the future of data integration, analytics and AI. Attendees had the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge from real stories: Henderson Group, United Language Group, Danske Bank, and Boston Scientific. Here’s a recap of what made the AI Reality Tour truly special.

The event kicked off with an exploration of Qlik’s roadmap, highlighting key advancements on data integration, data quality, and analytics, as well as the transformative role of AI in business operations. We unveiled the latest innovations and features from Qlik, including two exciting new releases: Qlik Answers and Qlik Talend Cloud.

Brian and Stephen, our data and analytics specialists, led a compelling demo of Qlik Answers, showcasing how this tool leverages generative AI to deliver personalised, relevant answers from unstructured data sources, empowering businesses to make smarter decisions. They also demonstrated the capabilities of Qlik Talend Cloud, a platform that seamlessly combines the strengths of Qlik and Talend to help organisations manage, organise and deliver trusted data for AI, analytics, and operational projects.

In Belfast, we were privileged to hear from Danielle McCloy,, Data & Analytics Manager, and Kieran Mulholland, BI Data Analyst & Coach, from Henderson Group, along with Declan O Droighneain, Business Intelligence Manager, from United Language Group, shared their remarkable data journeys with Qlik, fostering discussions among all the attendees.

Meanwhile, in Dublin, Paul McCormick, Data and Analytics Development Manager, from Danske Bank, and Darren Long, Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, and Seán Ward, Sr Engineering Manager, from Boston Scientific took the stage, inspiring the audience with their impactful use of data to drive innovation and results.
