The AI Reality Tour 2026 came to Belfast & Dublin!
Every year, Capventis hosts the AI Reality Tour in Belfast and Dublin to bring together data & analytics enthusiasts, professionals, and luminaries. The aim is to bring everyone together for a day of collaboration and dialogue around real data problems being faced across organisations today, with an open forum around what can be done to solve them.
This year was no different, and we were able to hear from talented data professionals about how they are using tools like Qlik to further leverage and democratise their data stack.
Capventis is proud to bring the AI Reality Tour to Ireland every year. Both the Dublin and Belfast events offer unique viewpoints and stories, thanks to the diverse industry background of attendees.

There was great interaction between the audience and presenters throughout the event, with lively peer to peer networking discussions leading to some valuable insights.
Some of the latest developments from Qlik’s Roadmap were presented, highlighting some exciting new products like Qlik Answers and MCP Server, alongside upcoming features like Automate Agent and Analytics Agent coming later this year.
Our data specialists then gave live demos of these updates in action. They opened with a run-down of how Qlik Talend Cloud and Open Lakehouse can help deliver real-time data in a cost-effective, performant, and open format Iceberg Lakehouse. Data Stewardship was key on the agenda, with quality checks and Trust Score ensuring both users and developers can remain confident in the accuracy of their data. We also got an in-depth look at Qlik Answers and MCP Server, both facilitating simple-language dialogue and autonomous action based on governed, high-quality data.
A great part of these events every year is being able to hear from leading organisations about how they tackle real data problems. We were able to hear from David Kelly, Data Analytics and Reporting Lead at Brown Thomas Arnotts about their data and reporting AI journey, sparking some great discussions.
